Extra Details:: Suitable as a substrate for Akt/PKB when used in conjunction with immunoprecipitated Akt/PKB and may also be phosphorylated by other protein kinases, including Rsk-2. Peptide corresponding to the sequence in GSK3 surrounding the serine phosphorylated by MAPKAP Kinase-1 and p70 S6 Kinase (Ser21 in GSK3-a and Ser9 in GSK3-b, GRPRTSSFAEG) (linear). Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute to nominal volume (see reconstitution instructions for peptides) and store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
