- Extra Details:
- Cripto-1 is a member of the EGF-CFC family. It exists both as a secreted and as a GPI-anchored membrane protein. Cripto functions as a cofactor that modulates the activities of TGF-Beta family members. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Immunocytochemistry and Blocking Studies. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA (Capture): 2-8ug/ml when used as a capture reagent in a human Cripto-1 sandwich immunoassay in combination with biotinylated, human Cripto-1 (C7922-10) as the detection antibody and recombinant human Cripto-1 (C7922-10D) as the standard. Blockade of Receptor-Ligand Interaction: 0.1-0.5ug/ml results in 50% inhibition. Blocks >80% of the binding of 75ng/ml of recombinant human Cripto-1 to immobilized recombinant human Activin RIB (100ul of a 2ug/ml solution was coated in each well) in a functional ELISA. Flow Cytometry: 0.25ug/10e6 cells in BG01V human embryonic stem cells Immunocytochemistry: 5-25ug/ml in immersion fixed human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
