Extra Details:: C3d is a component of complement. Cell-bound C3b may undergo limited proteolysis to release the fragment C3c and retain C3d on the membrane. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunoelectrophoresis and Single and Double Radial Immunodiffusion (Ouchterlony). Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunoelectrophoresis: 120ul against 2ul human plasma or equivalent Double Radial Immunodiffusion: Use a rosette arrangement with 10ul in 3mm diameter center well and 2ul plasma samples (neat and serially diluted) in 2mm diameter peripheral wells. Single Radial Immunodiffusion: use 1% antiserum in the gel Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
