Extra Details:: Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and RIA. Not suitable for Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: Use as capture or as a second detecting antibody in sandwich format (Apparent binding constant is ~0.1nM). Immunohistochemistry (acetone or ethanol fixed frozen 10um sections): 10-20ug/ml, Staining is similar to that for polyclonal antibodies to interstitial collagen I. Not suitable for paraffin-embedded sections or formaldhyde fixation. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
