- MaxLight™490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight™488, Alexa Fluor™488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (491nm); Emission (515nm); Extinction Coefficient 73,000. Type I collagen is the most common of the collagens in vertebrates. It comprises up to 90% of the skeletons of the mammals and is also widespread all over the body. Such as: skin, tendons, ligaments, cornea, intervertebral disks, dentine, arteries and granulation tissues as the main locations. The importance of type I collagen for medical research is that it is involved in many human and animal diseases, including fibrosis, osteoporosis, cancer, atherosclerosis etc. Type I collagen is frequently utilized to monitor physiological changes in tissues as well as being used as diagnostic tools in various pathological conditions. Applications: Suitable for use in Dot and Slot Blot, FLISA, Indirect Immunohistochemistry and Indirect Immunocytochemistry. Not recommended for paraffin tissue sections. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
