Extra Details:: Clathrin consists of three heavy chain (192kD) and three light chains (LCa or LCb, 25-29kD) and self-assembles into a polyhedral cytoskeletal element. Self-assembly facilitates clathrin’s central role in membrane sorting and selective transport within the cell. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot.. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry (frozen): 1:10 Western Blot: 1:100-1:500 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
