- MaxLight™ 650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000. The human homolog of Drosophila discs large (Dlg) contains a C-terminus domain homologous to known guanylate kinases, and a src homology 3 region motif. This structure is characteristic of the membrane associated guanylate kinase (MAGUK) proteins.1 DLG mRNA transcripts are widely distributed in mouse and human tissues, and the protein is localized to regions of cell-cell contact.2 In Drosophila, the germ line mutations in the lethal discs large 1 (dlg) locus result in imaginal disc neoplasia and a prolonged larval period followed by death.2 Recessive lesions have been described in seven Drosophila genes that lead to overgrowth of the imaginal discs. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, FLISA, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunofluorescence: See reference 1 FLISA: 0.1-1ug/ml Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml Immunoprecipitation: 5-10ug/IP reaction Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Positive Control: Human Hela cells, Jurkat cells, Caco-2 and human T lymphocytes Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™650 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
