Extra Details:: The TRPM7 (Transient Receptor Protein-PhosphoLipase C-Interacting Kinase) protein is a member of the ion channel proteins. It regulates the calcium concentration in cells, which is imperative for such functions as muscle contractions and neuronal firing. TRPM7, however, is unique among the TRP channel proteins because it is bi-functional. It not only controls ion channels but it also acts as a kinase, phosphorylating proteins. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
