- Extra Details:
- Expression of cdc2 plays a critical role in cell transition through the G2/M phase. The activity of cdc2 in dividing cells increases at the onset of M phase coincident with disassembly of the cell nucleus, generation of mitotic spindles and chromosome condensation. Several proteins including Histone H1 and pp60 src are substrates for cdc2. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5-2ug/ml detected cdc2 from human A431, mouse 3T3 and rat L6 RIPA cell lysates. Immunoprecipitation: 4ug Immunoprecipitates cdc2 from 500ug of A431 RIPA lysates. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Included Positive Antigen Control: A0001-50: Non-stimulated A431 lysate. Use 20ug per lane for minigels Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
