- Human beta4 integrin, also known as CD104, is a 205kD glycoprotein which associates with the alpha6/beta4 complex. CD104 is expressed on epithelial cells, Schwann cells and various tumor cell lines. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot and Immunofluorescence. Not suitable for use with paraffin sections in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 1:25-1:100. 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul. Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1:500-1:1000 Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Recommended Positive Control (IHC): Human Tonsil Recommended Secondary Reagents: I1904-65W: IgG, F(ab’)2 (HRP) Pab Rb xMo I1904-66A: IgG, F(ab’)2, X-Adsorbed (FITC) Pab Rb xMo Recommended Negative Control: I1904-78M: Mouse IgG1 Negative Control Hybridoma: Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
