Extra Details:: Human CD86 (B7-2) is a costimulating ligand for CD28 and CTLA-4. CD86 is expressed on activated B cells and blood monocytes (3). Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Flow Cytometry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 5ug/ml. 80ul labels 5x10e5 Raji cells. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Flow Cytometry Protocol: 1. 5x10e5 cultured human Raji cells were incubated 45 minutes on ice with 80ul of C2435-04 at 5ug/ml. 2. Cells were washed twice and incubated with 2º reagent Goat anti-Mouse IgG/FITC. 3. Cells were then washed three times, fixed and analyzed by FACS. 4. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 1.30 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgG1 negative control at a similar concentration. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
