Extra Details:
CD83 is a 45kD type 1 glyoprotein belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily. Originally described as a maturation marker for dendritic cells, CD83 plays a role in the regulation of antigen presentation, thymic T-cell maturation, B-cell function and peripheral T-cell activation. Activated dendritic cells and B-cells release a soluble form of CD83 that is reported to have an immunosuppressive effect, suggesting a therapeutic role for sCD83 in the regulation of immune disorders. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
