CD 81, a 26kD cell surface antigen also known as TAPA-1 and a member of the tetraspanin family. CD81 is widely expressed on human leukocytes and appears to be involved in a variety of cellular leukocytes and appears to be involved in a variety of cellular processes, including adhesion, activation, proliferation and differentiation. The antibody is a potent CD81 reagent, induces homotypic adhesion and has powerful anti proliferative effects. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: Paraffin Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. Hybridoma: P3X63-Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice Source: Tissue culture supernatant Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
