Extra Details:: CD 81, a 26kD cell surface antigen also known as TAPA-1 and a member of the tetraspanin family. CD81 is widely expressed on human leukocytes and appears to be involved in a variety of cellular leukocytes and appears to be involved in a variety of cellular processes, including adhesion, activation, proliferation and differentiation. The antibody is a potent CD81 reagent, induces homotypic adhesion and has powerful anti proliferative effects. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: Paraffin Flow Cytometry: 1:5-1:10. Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
