- CD 81, a 26kD cell surface antigen also known as TAPA-1 and a member of the tetraspanin family. CD81 is widely expressed on human leukocytes and appears to be involved in a variety of cellular leukocytes and appears to be involved in a variety of cellular processes, including adhesion, activation, proliferation and differentiation. The antibody is a potent CD81 reagent, induces homotypic adhesion and has powerful anti proliferative effects. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: Paraffin 1:5-1:10. Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. Recommended Negative Controls: I1904-78R: IgG1 Murine Negative Control Recommended Secondary Reagents: I1904-65W: IgG, F(ab’)2 (HRP) Pab RbxMo I1904-66C: IgG, F(ab’)2, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab RbxMo F(ab')2 rabbit anti-mouse IgG labeled with RPE Hybridoma: P3X63-Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice Source: Tissue culture supernatant Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark.
