- Human CD79b is the B cell antigen receptor Igb chain (BCR-Igb) which associates with B cell antigen receptor Ig a chain to form a functional heterodimer that interacts with membrane immunoglobulin (mIg). The mIgM component binds antigen and the Iga/Igb heterodimer transduces signals. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 5ug/ml. 80ul labels 5x10e5 cells. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Flow Cytometry Protocol: 1. 5x10e5 cultured Daudi human tumor cells were incubated 45 minutes on ice with 80ul of C2431-05G at 5ug/ml. 2. Cells were washed twice and incubated with IgG (FITC) GtxMo. 3. They were then washed three times, fixed and analyzed by FACS. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 1.50 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgG1 negative control at a similar concentration. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
