- Extra Details:
- CD79 is a 23/21 disulfide-linked heterodimer composed of an alpha chain (CD79a/mb-1) and a beta chain (CD79b/B29) that associates non-covalently with membrane immunoglobulin to form the B cell receptor (BCR) complex. Its expression is restricted to B lymphocytes, first appearing on the surface at the pro-B cell stage and remaining through all stages of B cell differentiation prior to plasma cells. Crosslinking of the BCR leads to B cell activation. Applications: • Flow cytometry • Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections) • Immunoprecipitation Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 10ul/10e6 cells Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
