- Extra Details:
- CD79 is a disulfide-linked heterodimer composed of an α chain (CD79a) and a β chain (CD79b) that associates non-covalently with membrane immunoglobulin to form the B cell receptor (BCR) complex. Its expression is restricted to B lymphocytes first appearing on the surface at the pro-B cell stage and remaining through all stages of B cell differentiation prior to plasma cells. Crosslinking of the BCR leads to B cell activation. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 10ul/10e6 cells Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
