- CD79 beta is expressed by B cells as part of the B cell receptor complex (immunoglobulin and the CD79 alpha/beta heterodimer). Mouse CD79 beta is expressed at the cell surface of pro-B cells prior to surface immunoglobulin and is expressed throughout B cell differentiation. CD79 beta is a B cell specific marker, valuable for the detection of B cells at all maturation stages. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:50-1:100; Use 10ul of the recommended working dilution to label 10e6 cells or 100ul whole blood.
