Extra Details:: Also known as transferrin receptor, CD71 is a type II transmembrane protein of 180-190kD (90-95kD under reducing conditions) that exists as a homodimer on the cell surface and is essential for growth. CD71 is expressed by immature proliferating cells and at low levels on resting mature lymphocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation and in vitro inhibiition of cell proliferation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: ≤0.2ug per 10e6 cells Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
