Extra Details:: CD71 is a type II transmembrane protein of 170-180kD. Also known as transferrin receptor, CD71 exists as a homodimer on the cell surface and is essential for growth. CD71 is expressed by immature proliferating cells and at low levels on resting mature lymphocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation and Inhibition of cell proliferation in vivo and in vitro. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
