- Extra Details:
- CD69, otherwise known as AIM/CLEC2C, is a cell surface marker and C-type lectin, which is expressed during the early activation of B and T cells, and also by natural killer (NK) cells, platelets, neutrophils, eosinophils, and epidermal Langerhans cells. CD69 is closeley related to the LY49 NK cell activation marker, and is inducible by mitogens, antigens or activators of PKC on the surface of B and T cells, and also by IL-2/p75 IL-2R interaction on the surface of NK cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
