- CD69 is a 60kD type II membrane protein composed of a 27/33kD disulfide-linked homodimer, also known as Very Early Activation Antigen (VEA), AIM, EA1, MLR3, and gp34/28. It is expressed on a subset of thymocytes and platelets. CD69 is rapidly induced on activated T and B cells, neutrophils, and NK cells. It is a C-type lectin, closely related to the NKR-P1 and Ly-49 NK cell activation molecules. CD69 is involved in the early events of cell activation and thymocyte positive selection. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation (1) and Immunohistochemistry (4,5). Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: ≤ 1ug/10e6 cells in 100ul. Immunohistochemistry: Frozen Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
