Extra Details:
Human CD64 is a high affinity receptor for monomeric human IgG1 and IgG3 which is expressed on macrophages, monocytes, and gamma interferon induced neutrophils. CD64 plays an important role in clearance of immune complexes and in antibody dependent cytoxicity. CD64, also known as FcgRI, is a 71kD type I transmembrane protein. It is expressed exclusively on monocytes and macrophages and binds monomeric human IgG with high avidity. CD64 is thought to play a role in the antibody-dependent cytotoxicity (ADCC) reactions, phagocytosis and mediates the release of IL-1, IL-6 and TNF-alpha. INF-gamma increases the expression of CD64 and induces its expression on neutrophils which do not usually express CD64. Glucocorticoids have also been reported to increase this receptor. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:50-1:100. Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Recommended Negative Control: I1904-78R: IgG1 Murine Negative Control Recommended Seconadry Reagent: I1904-66A: IgG, F(ab’)2 (FITC) Pab Rb xMo Hybridoma: Spleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the mouse SP2/0-Ag14 myeloma cell line. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
