- Extra Details:
- CD63 is expressed by monocytes and by a variety of cell lines. It is located intracellularly in lysosomal granules of platelets, being translocated to the surface upon activation. It may therefore by useful as a marker of platelet activation. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul or 100ul whole blood. Optimal dilution to be determined by researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
