Extra Details:: E-Selectin, also known as Endothelial Leukocyte Adhesion Molecule 1 (ELAM-1), and Leukocyte Endothelial Cell Adhesion Molecule 2 (LECAM-2), has been designated CD62E. It is a cell surface glycoprotein expressed by activated endothelium and it mediates the adhesion of blood neutrophils. E-Selectin and P-Selectin are related (44% aa sequence identity). P-Selectin occurs on activated platelets and endothelial cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
