- Extra Details:
- PI-linked glycoprotein, MW 18-20kD found on all types of leukocytes including platelets. The antigen is expressed on many haemapoietic and non-haemapoietic cells. CD59 is expressed by erythrocytes and therefore staining in whole blood system requires a high concentration of antibody. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, ELISA, Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot and Immunofluorescence and Immunoelectron Microscopy. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 1:5-1:10. Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Immunohistochemistry (Frozen and Paraffin): Antigen retrieval using heat treatement methods prior to staining of paraffin sections is required. Sodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0, is recommended for this procedure. Recommended positive control tissue: Tonsil Western Blot: Non-reducing. The recognized epitope is lost after reduction, therefore, non-reducing conditions are required. Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Recommended Negative Controls: I1904-83P1: Mouse IgG2a Negative Control Positive Control: Tonsil Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
