Recommended Negative Controls: Mouse IgG1 Negative Control This molecule is inducible to high levels by mitogenic lectins on lymphocytes and by IL-1 beta or IFN gamma on other cell types such as fibroblasts and endothelial cells. Detects an antigen of 90kD. Clone 84H10 has been reported to block ICAM1 mediated cellular adhesion and block binding of LFA-1 and P. falciparum to ICAM-1. Removal of sodium azide is recommended prior to use in functional assays. Applications: Flow Cytometry: Neat-1:10 Immunohistochemistry: (frozen)- 1:20-1:50 Immunoprecipitation: 5ug / 10e7 cells Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
