Extra Details:
Human CD49d molecules are integrin a4 chains that are expressed as heterodimers with CD29 (b1 integrin) or (b7 integrin) and function as adhesion receptors. CD49d/CD29 is mainly expressed on thymocytes and B cells with increased expression on activated T cells. The ligands for CD49d/CD29 include VCAM-1 and fibronectin. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. FACS Protocol: 1. Incubate 5 x10e5 cultured HPB-MLT human tumor cells on ice for 45 minutes with 80ul of C2404-46A at 10ug/ml. 2. Washed 2x and incubated with IgG, H&L (FITC) (X-Adsorbed) Pab Gt xMo. 3. Washed 3x, fixed and analyzed on a BD FACS Calibur. 4.. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 1.69 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgG1 negative control at a similar concentration. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
