- Human CD49b is an integrin alpha 2 subunit that forms a heterodimer with beta 1 integrin and functions as an adhesion molecule. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry and Functional Assays. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): Requires protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin sections e.g. trypsin or pronase. Use sodium citrate buffer, pH 6, for heat mediated antigen retrieval. Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher Recommended Secondary Antibodies (FC): I1904-66A: IgG, F(ab’)2, X-Adsorbed (FITC) Pab Rb x Mo Recommended Secondary Antibodies (IHC): I1904-65W: IgG, F(ab’)2 (HRP) Pab Rb x Mo I1904-66C: IgG, F(ab’)2, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab Rb x Mo Recommended Negative Control: I1904-78R: IgG1 Murine Negative Control Hybridoma: X63-Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
