- Extra Details:
- High molecular weight form of the leukocyte common antigen is the rat homologue of a similar antigen described in man (CD45R). The antigen is found on B cells, approximately 50% of bone marrow cells, a few percent of thymocytes, all CD8 and T cells. It splits CD4 and T cells into two populations differing in their helper activities. Hybridoma: Spleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the NS1 mouse myeloma cell line. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: Neat. Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
