- CD45 called CD45RB is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family. The PTP proteins are signalling molecules that are involved in a variety of cellular processes including cell growth, differentiation, mitosis and oncogenesis. CD45 is an essential regulator of T- and B-cell antigen receptor signalling. CD45 has various isoforms generated by different splicing of exons. Clone C363-16A recognises CD45RB, generated by exon 5 splicing. This 220kDa glycoprotein is expressed on peripheral B-cells, naïve T-cells, thymocytes, macrophages and dendritic cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: Frozen and paraffin sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the research. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
