- CD45 is the common leukocyte antigen and is expressed on all cells of hematopoietic origin except erythrocytes.1-4 CD45 exists as a number of different isoforms which result from alternative RNA splicing of exons 4, 5 and 6. The CD45 molecule has been implicated as playing a key role in thymic development and in antigen-driven proliferation of T cells.4 Applications: • Flow cytometry 2, 3 • Immunoprecipitation 1, 3 • Radiometric quantitation of CD45 molecules on cell surfaces 1 • Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections) Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: ≤ 0.2ug/10e6 cells Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
