- CD45 is a cell surface antigen. It is also known as the leukocyte common antigen (LCA). CD45 is expressed by all leukocytes, but not by non-haematopoietic tissues. Expression on lymphocytes is characteristically stronger than that observed on granulocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Secondary Reagents: S7973-96B: Streptavidin (FITC) S7973-92F2: Streptavidin (PE) Positive control tissue: Human tonsil. Negative Control: Mouse IgG2a Negative Control Hybridoma: Spleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the mouse NS-1 myeloma cell line. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
