Extra Details:
CD45, also known as the leukocytes common antigen (LCA) consists of a family of heavily glycosylated membrane glycoproteins of molecular weight 180-240kD. Antibodies recognizing a common epitope on all of these isoforms are termed CD45, whilst those recognizing only individual isoforms are termed CD45RA, CD45RO etc. OX-1 reacts with all forms of CD45 expressed by all hematopoietic cells, except erythrocytes. CD45 isoforms play complex roles in T-cell and B-cell antigen receptor signal transduction. This product is routinely tested by flow cytometry on rat splenocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: Neat-1:10. 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Spleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the mouse NS1 myeloma cell line. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
