Extra Details:: The leukocyte common antigen consists of a family of heavily glycosylated membrane glycoproteins of molecular weight 180-240kD. Antibodies recognizing a common epitope on all of these isoforms are termed CD45, whilst those recognising only individual isoforms are termed CD45RA, CD45RO etc. OX-1 reacts with all forms of CD45 expressed by all haematopoietic cells, except erythrocytes. CD45 isoforms play complex roles by T-cell and B-cell antigen receptor signal transduction. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry (frozen). Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:100, Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. Recommended Secondary Reagents: IgG Goat anti mouse IgG:FITC (rat adsorbed) IgG Goat anti mouse IgG:RPE (rat adsorbed) Immunohistology: * Recommended Secondary Reagents: Goat anti mouse IgG:HRP (rat adsorbed) Hybridoma: Spleen cells from BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the NS1 mouse myeloma cell line. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
