- The leukocyte common antigen consists of a family of heavily glycosylated membrane glycoproteins of molecular weight 180-240kD. Antibodies recognizing a common epitope on all of these isoforms are termed CD45, whilst those recognising only individual isoforms are termed CD45RA, CD45RO etc. OX-1 reacts with all forms of CD45 expressed by all haematopoietic cells, except erythrocytes. CD45 isoforms play complex roles by T-cell and B-cell antigen receptor signal transduction. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry (frozen). Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:100, Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. Recommended Secondary Reagents: IgG Goat anti mouse IgG:FITC (rat adsorbed) IgG Goat anti mouse IgG:RPE (rat adsorbed) Immunohistology: * Recommended Secondary Reagents: Goat anti mouse IgG:HRP (rat adsorbed) Hybridoma: Spleen cells from BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the NS1 mouse myeloma cell line. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
