- Extra Details:
- The platelet GPIX glycoprotein is a 23kD surface marker expressed by platelets and megakaryocytes. Platelet GPIX is also known as CD42a. The CD42 complex is the major platelet receptor for von Willebrand factor. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: Neat. 10ul labels 10e6 cells or 100ul whole blood. Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Hybridoma: NS1 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Recommended Negative Control: I1904-79D: IgG1 Murine Negative Control (PE) Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C. Reconstitute by adding sterile ddH2O. Aliquot and store at 4°C. DO NOT FREEZE! Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months as an undiluted liquid. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
