Has been successfully used as a capture reagent for platelet-autoantibody complexes in the sera of patients presenting thrombocytopenia associated with antiphospholipid syndrome (Godeau et al. 1997). Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 1:50-1:200. Dilute in PBS. Use 50ul of diluted antibody per 1x10e6 platelets in 100ul of buffer. Immunohistochemistry: frozen sections Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Immunohistochemistry Recommended Positive Control Tissue: Bone marrow. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C.
