Extra Details:: Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 10-20ug/ml (culture supernatants) will allow visualization of NP 40 solubized human normal platelets. Under reducing conditions they will bind against the human platelet membrane glycoproteins IIb/IIIa complex, which have a molecular weights of ~130,000 (IIb) and 115,000 (IIIa). The titer of purified ascites was determined by ELISA coated with 100ul of 1x10e8 washed platelets Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
