- MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000. CD40 cell surface antigen is a 48kD glycoprotein expressed by B lymphocytes and weakly by some monocytes. CD40 is involved in the process of B cell selection in germinal centers and is vital in T cell-B cell interactions. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 20ug/ml. Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Immunohistochemistry (Frozen and paraffin): 1-10ug/ml. Requires protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin embedded sections prior to staining. Immunocytochemistry: 1:10ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Immunohistochemsitry Positive Control: Human tosil Hybridoma: Spleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the mouse NS1 myeloma cell line. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™650 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
