- CD40 cell surface antigen is a 48kD glycoprotein expressed by B lymphocytes and weakly by some monocytes. CD40 is involved in the process of B cell selection in germinal centers and is vital in T cell-B cell interactions. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Frozen and paraffin): 1-10ug/ml. Requires protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin embedded sections prior to staining. Immunocytochemistry: 1:10ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Immunohistochemsitry Positive Control: Human tosil Hybridoma: Spleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the mouse NS1 myeloma cell line. Recommended Secondary Reagents: I1904-65W: IgG, F(ab’)2 (HRP) Pab RbxMo I1904-66C: IgG, F(ab’)2, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab RbxMo I1904-65V IgG, F(ab’)2 (FITC) Pab RbxMo I1904-66A IgG, F(ab’)2, X-Adsorbed (FITC) Pab RbxMo F(ab')2 rabbit anti mouse IgG: PE conjugate Recommended Negative Controls: I1904-83P1: IgG2a Murine Negative Control Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark.
