Extra Details:
Ectonucleoside triphosphate diphosphohydrolase-1 (ENTPD1), also known as CD39 or NTPDase-1, was originally described as a B lymphocyte cell surface marker, but it is also present on the surface of natural killer cells, T cells, and some endothelial cells. ENTPD1 hydrolyzes the beta- and gamma-phosphate residues of nucleotides, preferring ATP as the substrate. Through its hydrolysis of extracellular nucleotides, ENTPD1 plays a role in the regulation of purinergic signaling. ENTPD1 is also involved in the processes of thromboregulation and vascular inflammation. The amino acid sequence of human ENTPD1 is 77% and 75% identical to that of mouse and rat. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 0.25-1ug/10e6 cells using mouse splenocytes. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
