- Extra Details:
- CD37 is a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily with 4 possible membrane spanning domains. CD37 is strongly expressed on the surface of human peripheral blood B cells and on B cells from the germinal center in lymph nodes. In the ontogeny of the B cells, CD37 appears at a late stage, but is not expressed on plasma cells. A main feature of CD37 is its high content of carbohydrate antigen (45%). CD37 has a very low but significant reactivity with T cells, granulocytes and monocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Flow Cytometry Protocol: 1. 5x10e5 cultured human Raji cells per tube were incubated for 45 minutes on ice with 80ul of C2389-06B at 5ug/ml. 2. Cells were then washed twice and incubated for 45 minutes with S7973-88P, after which they were washed three times, fixed and analyzed by FACS. 3. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 2.91 log10 fluorescent units when compared to Mouse IgG2b Biotin negative control at a similar concentration. Binding was blocked when pre incubated for 10 minutes with 20ul of 0.5mg/ml C2389-06A. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
