Extra Details:
The CD35 antigen is composed of four different allotypes having different molecular weights (A (or F)-160kD, B (or S)-190kD, C-220kD, and D-250kD). It is the receptor for C3b and is found on B cells, a subset of T cells, monocytes, neutrophils, follicular dendritic cells, erythrocytes and kidney glomelular podocytes. CD35 mediates neutrophil and monocyte phagocytosis of particles coated with C3b and/or C4b. This interaction also enhances phagocytosis mediated by the Fc receptors. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA, Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 10ul/10e6 cells Immunohistochemistry: frozen and paraffin sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
