- Extra Details:
- CD29 represents the 130kD beta1 integrin subunit that forms heterodimer complexes with many distinct a subunits including CD49a-f, which comprise the very late antigen family (VLA-1 to VLA-6) of integrins, and CD51. The CD29 molecule has a broad tissue distribution. It is expressed on all leukocytes, although only at low levels on granulocytes. Integrin heterodimers containing CD29 mediate cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry (Neat): Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Negative Controls: I1904-78R3: IgG1 Murine Negative Control (FITC) Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
