- Extra Details:
- CD26, also known as dipeptidyl peptidase (DPPIV), is a 110kD type II integral membrane glycoprotein that is primarily expressed by CD3+ medullary thymocytes and peripheral T cells. CD26 is serine protease that is also associated with T cell activation and proliferation, cell to cell adhesion and HIV infection (1-6). Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Also suitable for studies of CD26-mediated T cell signaling as well as studies of involvement of CD26 in HIV infection. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: ≤1ug/10e6 cells Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
