- CD24 is a single chain glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored cell surface sialoglycoprotein. Expressed early in B lymphocytes ontogeny and lost at the plasma cell stage. In contrast, CD24 antigen is absent from T lymphocytes, NK cells, monocytes, erythrocytes and platelets. Fusion Partners: Spleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice were fused with cells of a mouse myeloma cell line. FITC: Protein (molar ratio): 3.3: 1 Recommended Negative Controls: Mouse IgG1 Negative Control: FITC Applications: Flow Cytometry: Neat Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 10e6 cells or 100ul whole blood. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
