- Extra Details:
- Human CD24 is a glycosyl phosphatidyl inositol (GPI) anchored surface protein found on B cells during multiple stages of development from precursor to the onset of plasma cell differentiation. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 10ug/ml. 80ul labels 5x10e6 cultured Nalm-6 cells. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Flow Cytometry Protocol: 1. Five x 10e5 Nalm-6 cells were incubated 45 minutes on ice with 80ul of C2275-05G at 10ug/ml. 2. Wash cells two times and incubate 45 minutes with S7973-88P Streptavidin (PE). 3. Wash three times, fix and analyze by FACS. 4. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 1.1 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgM(Biotin) negative control at a similar concentration. 5. This shift was blocked when pre-incubated for 10 minutes with 20ul of 0.5mg/ml anti-CD24 (C2275-05F). Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
