Extra Details:: CD21, an antigen with MW:150kD. CD21 is also known as CR2, complement receptor 2, Epstein Barr virus receptor (EBV-R) and C3d receptor. CD21 is expressed by certain B cells, follicular dendritic cells and a subset of immature thymocytes. CD21 serves as the receptor C3d, C3g and iC3band also as the receptor for Epstein Barr virus. CD21 is expressed on all mature circulating B lymphocytes but not on T lymphocytes or natural killer cells.1 Low density CD21 has also been reported on granulocytes and monocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: ≤ 0.2ug/10e6 cells Immunohistochemistry: acetone-fixed, frozen tissue sections only Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
